As part of our accessibility statement, we would like to give you an overview of the status of the compatibility of the service(s) described below with the requirements of accessibility according to legal regulations (in particular with the Accessibility Strengthening Act – BFSG).

The digital and electronic user interfaces of our products – including software solutions, self-service terminals and apps – have been revised with regard to the requirements of the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG).

On the website www.secanda.com we will inform you about our modular solutions in the areas of Access, Time tracking, Identity and digital payment.

Our customers include companies, educational institutions, healthcare facilities and student unions. You use our Software and Self-service terminals within their company to provide employees, students, visitors or service providers with secure and efficient access to certain functions.

The products and services offered include, in particular:

• Software solutions and web applications through which end-users, for example:
  • gain access to certain rooms,
  • view and manage their working hours,
  • Manage meal credits, or
  • personal data.
• Self-service terminals where users can log into:
  • identify,
  • manage their credit,
  • Make payments, or
  • Be able to retrieve information.

The above-mentioned services largely meet the requirements of the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG).

However, some components or functions still have accessibility limitations:

• PDF documents are not always fully usable with screen readers.
• Keyboard usability is not guaranteed for all areas.
• User guidance at connected vending machines (e.g. beverage or coffee machines) is outside our area of responsibility. Only our SECANDA vending terminal is used here, which offers the following barrier-friendly functions:
  • Possibility of contrast adjustment
  • Acoustic signals to support operation

The assessment of the state of accessibility is based on our self-assessment. In the course of further product improvements, further features of the BFSG will be incorporated into the products.
